José Ruiz Pedregosa (b. 1958) is the only disciple of the Spanish luthier Jerónimo Peña Fernández whose guitars are played by such great flamenco players as Monolo Sanlucar, Manolo Escobar, and Enrique Montoya. José's guitars have a big sound and a regal tonality that sets them apart from other flamenco guitars. There are a few superficial marks on the top and back, which as this guitar is french polished, could be easily taken care or, the finish on this guitar is excellent condition. Otherwise, the guitar is in excellent condition: it needs no repairs nor has it had any.
