Manuel Adalid (b. 1951) is a second generation luthier, and the head luthier at Esteve. He is widely respected as one of Spain's most experimental and innovative guitar makers.  The guitars Manuel makes under his own name, however, are not production guitars. He maintains his own workshop within Esteve, where he carries on experiments, and personally makes his own guitars. The Viviana concert classical guitar is a model that Manuel Adalid has designed to our specifications and builds for us exclusively. Each is signed and dated by Manuel. It offers a concert quality sound at an affordable price. It is impeccably made-- and has the characteristics that professional flamenco players demand: power, projection, bright tone, great snappy rasp and burn, crisp firm basses, strident popping trebles, solid mid-range, and above a low fast set up. Stock number MA12-01.
