Many consider the Golden Age of the Ramirez workshop to be during the 1960s. Andres Segovia was playing their guitars, and the group of luthiers that were working in there included many luminaries that would eventually establish their own shops. This guitar was built in 1967 and carries the initials P.C. and so probably was made by Pedro Contreras Valbuena, but could have been made by Cayetano Alvarez Luna, who also used these initials when he built guitars. The seller who is a luthier states that this guitar is all original, has had no repairs, and needs none, but does note that there is some light checking to the finish. He also notes that "it is very light weight and easy to play."
