Jose Ruiz Pedregosa (b. 1958) was trained by Spanish luthier Jerónimo Peña Fernández. This model like that of his teacher is adorned with carved headstock and bridge. While this makes this an work of art, it is its sound that makes it a great classical guitar, over all the sound reminds me of a Fleta, especially with its cello like basses, and sweet full-bodied trebels. It is set up well, and is very comfortable to play. I think this particular guitar, No. 248, is the nicest classical I have had from Jose, and is a steal at this price.
