The Spanish luthier Santos Bayon Ruiz is the grand nephew of Santos Hernandez, and continues to work in Santos Hernandez actual workshop in Madrid using his tools and forms that he inherited from his father, Feliciano Bayón, a talented luthier in his own right. The family inherited not just the workshop, but some Santos Hernandez guitars which obviously he studied very closely. The result is Santos Hernandez model, a superb guitar which reminds one instantly of the great guitars produced Santos Hernandez  The trebles are clear, focused, and intense. The mid-range is likewise strong and full bodied. The basses are firm, resonant, and crisp. The action is perfect for flamenco.
