Daniel Friederich (b.1932)  is widely regarded as among the greatest living makers in the world. Many concert artists such as Julian Bream, Scott Tennant, David Tanenbaum among many others have played his guitars.  His guitars are sought after by both players and collectors, so the waiting list for his new instruments nearly 10 years.
