Hermann Hauser Sr. (1882-1952) is widely regarded as one of the finest makers of the 20th century.  This classical guitar was originally purchased from Hauser I by the German guitarist and composer Heinrich Albert  (1870-1950). Its body is made of flamed European maple with a top of German spruce. The instrument is in excellent condition. The machine tuners and hardcase are original. The guitar has been re-French polished by Renzo Salvador, a luthier in Belgium. The fingerboard has been widened slightly for playability, but could be returned to its original configuration easily.  Its sound is of absolute purity, and it was used by Philippe Lemaigre to record the complete works of Agustin Barrios. This guitar is currently in Europe and price does not include shipping or other applicable duties.
