This Conde Hermanos AF25R concert flamenco guitar was made in 2003. Since the family has a number of branches and shops, it is important to establish that this guitar was made in the Felipe V workshop. After the death of Faustino (1988) and Mariano Conde (1989), the Felipe V shop which was run by Mariano Conde's sons--Felipe and Mariano Jr--became the most prestigious of these many shops. Felipe and Mariano continued their father and uncle tradition of building fine flamenco guitars until 2010, when the brothers decided to go their separate ways.

The present owner is selling it because advancing age has ruined his hands for playing. It is absolutely pristine due to the fanatical care he has given it through the years. No damage, no wear at all. It is just as it was received from the Conde shop. This instrument was the very first flamenco guitar made with curly koa to enter the U.S.  The wood was hand picked by David Collette of the Guitar Salon International shop in Santa Monica, CA.
