If I were trying to pick one guitar with a quintessentially Spanish tone, it would be a Miguel Rodriguez. This handmade concert guitar was built while Miguel Rodriguez Sr (1888-1975) was still alive, but was probably built his son Miguel Rodriguez, Jr (1921-1998).  While it seems to have been used as a flamenca negra, hence the tap plate, this is a classical guitar. Generally it is in excellent condition, there was a hairline crack in the top was recently repaired by Arnie Gamble. Miguel Rodriguez guitars have an intensely bold Spanish voice, and are simply wonderful to play.
