This 1962 Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso is one of the very few "cathedral" headstock modela they made. Sabicas and Nino Ricardo played similar guitars. The Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso (Faustino Conde 1913-1988, Mariano Conde (1916-1989 and Julio Conde 1918-1995) took over their uncle's workshop in Madrid at Calle Gravina 8 when Esteso died in 1937, and continued to work for his widow until her death in 1960. The Conde brothers continued building under the label Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso into the 1970s but signed their labels Hermanos Conde. Aside from normal ware, fingernail marks, the guitar has no structural issues and has had no repairs, nor are any needed. The action is very flamenco. It does have a long scale, 670mm. This guitar is in Belgium and is only available within the EU. It is priced, however, in US dollars.
