John Shelton has been a woodworker pretty much his entire life. John began working with his father who was a master carpenter and cabinet maker at a young age. In college he became fascinated with flamenco, which soon lead him on the quest for the perfect flamenco guitar. In the mid 60's John he began to pursue building and repairing flamenco and classical guitars full-time. His wife Susan Farretta, a flamenco dancer and guitarist, started helping him build guitars in the late 1960's, and they have worked as a team ever since. I have played this guitar, and was impressed by its rich basses, excellent trebles, and responsiveness. It is set-up perfectly, and is a joy to play. The guitar is in near-mint condition, with very few signs of any wear. This guitar was bought from the makers in 2011, and is their "Traditional" model concert classical guitar.
