Eduardo Ferrer was born in 1905 and entered his uncle Benito Ferrer's shop as an apprentice when he was 10 or 12. When his uncle died in 1925, Eduardo took over his shop. As a luthier, his work followed closely that of his uncle, although he tried various experiments, he kept returning to the tried and true traditional methods of Benito Ferrer and Antonio de Torres. His importance as a luthier was also as a teacher:  apprentices include José Castaño and Milan; Juan López who died during the war,  Miguel Robles, Manuel Fernández, Francisco Manuel Díaz, Manuel López, Antonio Marín, his own son José Ferrer, and grandson Eduardo Duran Ferrer, and many more. He died in 1988.

Other than the evidence of play and use, this guitar is in excellent condition. Flamenco players seeking a low action will love this guitar.  At the 12th fret, the action is set at 2.5 and 2.0mm on the 6th and 1st strings respectively.

PLEASE NOTE THIS GUITAR IS IN GERMANY AND IS PRICED IN EUROS.
