The Spanish luthier Casimiro Lozano Carrillo was born in 1954 in Casasimarro. Beginning in 1969 he apprenticed in the workshop Vicente Carrillo that was run by his widow Gabriela Casas, and in 1992 opened his own workshop. Casimiro Lozano's concert classical guitars take their shape and dimensions of Fleta guitars. Their attack is immediate, with bright, clear sound, and unusually long sustain. They are characterized by superb balance, separation, and volume. Although this guitar has assorted scrathes in the surface of the finish, nothing appears deep. The owner has priced this guitar to sell, and compared to his current prices it is a real bargain.
