Aaron Garcia Ruiz Model is based on the 1883 Antonio de Torres SE 46 which is owned by the Centro de Documentación Musical de Andalucía in Granada. Unlike many so called "Torres models" built from plans, Aaron (who is both capable luthier and holds a Ph.D. in musicology) was given access to this guitar, and was able to make a close study of it. This guitar does not disappoint. Aaron has managed to capture the Torres sound. This instrument has the power and intensity and lovely tonal character heard in Torres guitars. This guitar has two repaired nearly invisible cracks on the back.
